Where is it?

The Vitosha Lounge is located airside in the international terminal, terminal 2. After passing through security control and passport control, turn left and pass through the shopping area and you will find the lounge on the left hand side.

How do I get in?

The lounge is used by a handful of airlines including the airlines in the Lufthansa Group – Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines and Swiss. The lounge is also used by the national carrier Bulgaria Air.

All other full-service airlines use the Pliska Lounge and the Preslav Lounge for their international flights, which are run by the same company.

It is also possible to access the Vitosha Lounge using various cards such as Priority Pass.

What’s it like?

The Vitosha Lounge is now marketed as an Aspire Lounge, run by Swissport. However there is very little resemblance between this lounge and the other Aspire Lounges throughout Europe.

Although all lounges at Sofia airport are fairly modern and reasonably new this is the most contemporary lounge at the airport and you can easily notice it is run by an international group like Swissport.

Restrooms are located in the transit hall just opposite the entrance.

Final impression
