Radisson Blu acquires two hotels in Helsinki and Tampere in Finland

Carlson Rezidor has acquired two hotels in Finland which will be transformed into Radisson Blu hotels during the first quarter of 2016. The hotels are located in the capital city Helsinki and the third largest city in Finland, Tampere, and are currently part of the Solo Sokos Hotels chain.

Solo Sokos Hotel Aleksanteri in Helsinki will reopen in the first quarter of 2016 as the Radisson Blu Aleksanteri hotel. The hotel is located in downtown Helsinki close to the Aleksanteri Theatre and offers a restaurant, a bar, gym, sauna and a small conference department.

Solo Sokos Hotel Tammer will also reopen in the first quarter of 2016 as the Radisson Blu Grand Hotel Tammer. The hotel offers 87 rooms, a business centre, sauna and three meeting rooms. There are also three restaurants named Restaurant Tammer, Trattoria Tammerin Puisto and Bar & Bistro Vihtorin Kirjasto.
