Hotel group Carlson Rezidor today announced the first four Radisson Red hotels in the Americas. The first hotels will be Radisson Red Bogota in Colombia, Radisson Red Cali in Colombia, Radisson Red Campinas in Brazil, and Radisson Red Minneapolis Downtown in Minneapolis, USA.

According to Carlson Rezidor the new Redbrand should appeal to “tech-savvy guests with an ageless millennial mindset” with a concept that “combines work and play and is inspired by design, art, music and fashion”.

Radisson Red Bogota will be located in the Virrey Park and will offer 58 rooms.  The hotel will also offer a rooftop pool with views of the park and the mountains and a restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2016.

Radisson Red Cali will be located in the heart of the city with views of the Cali River. The hotel will offer 91 rooms, a restaurant serving local cuisine, a salsa club and a rooftop pool with a beautiful view of the city. The hotel is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2016.

Radisson Red Campinas will offer 185 rooms and the hotel will be located in the Cambuí neighbourhood. There will be several restaurants, bars and shops in the hotel.

Radisson Red Minneapolis Downtown will be located in downtown Minneapolis within walking distance to the new US Bank Stadium. The hotel will offer 164 rooms, a signature Oui Bar and REDeli with an outdoor patio. There will also be a fitness studio, an event studio, a gallery and indoor parking. The hotel is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2016.

Carlson Rezidor plans to open 60 Radisson RED hotels by 2020.
