Carlson Rezidor today announced the opening of a new hotel in Slovenia – Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Ljubljana located in the Slovenian capital. The hotel as such is not new, it was previously run as the Plaza Hotel but has now been converted and re-branded to a Radisson Blu hotel.
The hotel is located 4 km from the city centre and features 208 rooms, 25 junior suites, 2 business suites and 1 executive suites. The rooms and suites are decorated in rich earth tones with a minimalistic design,
The hotel features 15 floors and the light design on the top floor is clearly visible. The previous penthouse and the roof top terrace have been converted to a conference centre with a nice view of the city.
In the lobby the Plaza Cafe offers coffee and tea as well as cocktails while the Plaza restaurant offers a mix of Slovenian food and international cuisine using primarily local ingredients.
Just around the corner from the hotel there is a shopping area and further 300 meters away is the Atlantic water park. For guests who want to travel further the hotel offers a chauffeur service using the latest Tesla Model S.
