InterCityHotel Frankfurt Airport reopens after major renovation

InterCityHotel Frankfurt Airport

The InterCityHotel at Frankfurt Airport has now been reopened after a major renovation of the rooms and public areas at a total cost 5.2 million euro. The renovation has taken place in several phases over a period of 166 working days.

The rooms have now received a new modern interior with “a real feel-good factor” with views of the neighbouring airport manoeuvring area and the area later to be terminal 3.

The restaurant and buffet has also received a major facelift with a fresh new look and a newly designed lounge has been constructed that leads directly to the JU52 Fliers Bar.

Another new feature is the photo-art project “Himmelskonstrukt”, a cooperation between InterCityHotel GmbH and Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences with the aim to deliver a real airport feeling at the hotel.
