Carlson Rezidor has signed an agreement to acquire a hotel close to Keflavik Airport, the main international airport of Reykjavik in Iceland. The current Icelandair Hotel in Keflavik will be renamed Park Inn by Radisson Keflavik International Airport. The full acquisition and re-branding will be made during the third quarter of 2015.

The hotel is located 8 minutes by hotel transfer from the airport terminal, 15 minutes from the famous Blue Lagoon and 35 minutes from downtown Reykjavik.

The hotel offers 60 rooms, an all-day restaurant, a lobby bar, 470 sqm of meeting and conference rooms, an underground parking and a gym.

Carlson Rezidor currently operates two hotels in Iceland – Radisson Blu 1919 Hotel and Radisson Blu Saga Hotel, both in Reykjavik.
