My second visit to the Primeclass Lounge at Riga airport in just two weeks, and now I am seriously impressed. Not just is the breakfast spread fairly good and definitely above average, especially for a lounge in northern Europe, but also the hot breakfast items are completely different from what they offered during my visit two weeks ago. That is definitely not what I would have expected from an airport lounge in the Baltics, and especially not at breakfast time.

Last time, two weeks ago, they had Latvian Rauga pancakes and omelettes with Comte cheese. This time they offer fried eggs, regular pancakes and grilled vegetables.

Naturally there is also a cold continental buffet with bread rolls, ham and cheese, yoghurt, milk and cereals, vegetables, pastries, croissants, and even jelly donuts.

A very pleasant lounge breakfast

And if you fancy something strong to drink beer, wine and spirits are available already in the morning. No such thing for me though as I have some work to do.

And the lounge is very quiet this late morning as there are not that many departures at this time. The lounge is really an oasis.
