Starting in the beginning of May SAS will introduce hot food in their Gold lounges in Scandinavia. The the new food concept will be introduced on Friday 6 May and will be offered from around 10 am, when the breakfast buffet is removed, and served until the evening.
This will be the very first time hot food is offered in the SAS Lounges. During the first few months this new addition will naturally be a bit of a trial and error, to get feedback from the passengers. Previously only a cold buffet has been available as well as various breakfast items in the morning and snacks and a cheese platter in the evening.
The SAS Gold lounges are available to EuroBonus Gold and Diamond members as well as Star Alliance Gold passengers, in all cases irrespective of cabin class. Passengers travelling in SAS Plus or Star Alliance business class will not have access to the SAS Gold lounges unless holding a gold card.
There are three SAS Gold Lounges available. At Stockholm Arlanda terminal 5, Copenhagen Kastrup and Oslo Gardermoen,
On 1 May a new wine selection will also be introduced with the new summer selection.
