Where is it?

The Plaza Premium Arrivals Lounge is located landside in terminal 4 very close to the arrivals hall. You will find the entrance on the mezzanine level.

If you plan to visit the lounge after arriving on a flight at terminal 4, after exiting from customs in the arrivals hall turn left and take the escalators in the corner to the left. On the mezzanine level you will see the lounge right in front of you. It is impossible to miss.

How do I get in?

The lounge is a third-party lounge, not contracted by any of the airlines operating at terminal 4. You can access it by using a variety of lounge cards and credit cards, including Priority Pass. You can also pay to access the lounge, either at the reception desk upon arrival or in advance.

In contrast to most arrivals lounges in the world, which close around noon or in the early afternoon, this lounge is open until 10 pm. So you can use it also in the afternoon if you need to get some work done or in the evening if you would like something to eat or drink before leaving the airport.

What’s it like?

Guests who have visited other Plaza Premium lounges will recognise most of the interior, however this lounge is actually slightly more modern in terms of the design compared to many other Plaza Premium lounges and overall gives a very good first impression, especially with the panorama windows, almost like a modern food court.

After the lobby with the reception desk the main lounge is located to the right with the buffet counter immediately after the reception area to the left. The lounge is not particularly large but adequate for the number of guests using it.

Inside the lounge

There are different seating areas including a long work desk and there is seating for maybe 30 guests divided into different sections. The centrepiece is the large bar counter where coffee, tea and various alcoholic drinks can be ordered.

All other facilities, including the showers, are located to the left of the reception desk.

Food and drinks

In contrast to the Plaza Premium Arrivals Lounge in terminal 2 in this lounge all food and snacks are available for self service. In the arrivals lounge in terminal 2 all food are made-to-order and need to be ordered at the bar.

The food selection obviously varies depending on the time of the day with breakfast items in the morning and some hot dishes later during the day.

During the test visit they had for example Pasta with yellow pepper sauce and vegetable ratatouille. There are also some cold cuts, bread rolls, finger sandwiches, vegetables, fresh fruits, cookies, pastries and miniature desserts.

All alcoholic drinks as well as coffee and tea need to be ordered at the manned bar while some soft drinks such as water and juices are available for self service in the buffet area. A standard selection of alcoholic drinks, including beer, wine and a standard selection of spirits, are available free of charge. Premium alcoholic drinks are also available but at an extra charge.

Facilities

Restrooms and showers are available inside the lounge.

There are also several TVs and free wireless internet.

Final impression

A very nice-looking and contemporary arrivals lounge with a nice interior, a manned bar and a reasonable selection food and snacks, especially for an arrivals lounge. And best of all, it is open until 10 pm.
