From 10 December Dutch chef Otto Kokmeijer will be in charge of the inflight experience in KLM Business Class on European flights. The collaboration is part of a new concept for KLM and it is the first time the airline works with a top chef to develop meals for flights within Europe.

Otto Kokmeijer is Executive Chef & Manager at the two-star Ciel Bleu restaurant at the Hotel Okura Amsterdam. Together with Arjan Speelman they have developed lunch and dinner menus for longer intra-Europe flights to and from Amsterdam. Passengers will have a choice of two meals which will change every week. There will also be major changes in connection with the winter and summer flight schedules.

The meals will be offered between Amsterdam and nine European destinations in both directions. These are Athens, Helsinki, Istanbul, Kiev, St Petersburg, Lisbon, Madrid, Bucharest and Moscow.
