For the first time it is now possible to pay to visit the Emirates lounges in Dubai, assuming you are a member in the Emirates Skywards program and travel on an Emirates flight or a Qantas codeshare flight. You can also ‘upgrade’ your lounge visit from the business class lounge to the first class lounge.

The price to get access to the business class lounge is 100 USD. This applies if you are travelling in economy class. The only requirement, as mentioned earlier, is that you need to be a member in the Emirates Skywards program.

If you want to visit the Emirates first class lounge the price is 200 USD if travelling in economy class, with the same requirement of Skywards membership.

You can also upgrade your visit from the business lounge to the first class lounge, which costs 100 USD. The ‘upgrade’ obviously only applies to the lounge visit and does not include any other first class perks.

And if you are a Platinum member in the Emirates Skywards program you can also pay to invite extra guests in the lounge.

Would you pay 200 USD to get access to the Emirates First Class Lounge?
