Alitalia business class passengers and Alitalia frequent flyers travelling out of London Heathrow now have a new lounge option at Heathrow airport. A new agreement enables passengers to also use the Etihad First & Business lounge before departure, which is due to the partnership with Etihad (they now have 49 percent ownership in Alitalia).

The Etihad lounge is located in terminal 4 opposite gate 10 and features an a la carte restaurant, a self-service buffet, a Six Senses spa with massage, a children’s play area, business centre and showers.

Access is offered to Alitalia business class passengers and Freccia Alata Plus members of the Alitalia frequent flyer program MilleMiglia. Premium passengers will also continue to have access to the Skyteam lounge at Heathrow terminal 4, located right above the Etihad lounge, even sharing the same entrance.

Alitalia has three daily flights from London to Rome and two daily flights to Milan.
