The last free snacks and drinks in British Airways shorthaul economy class

Today is the last day with complimentary food and drinks in British Airways shorthaul economy class on intra-European flights. And apparently they started the change early, downgrading the service step by step is stages. The offerings on the last BA flights I have been on have been meager, to say the least, with a choice of crisps or two lemon cookies, even on longer European flights well above two hours in length.

I hope the M&S food will be better, and I sincerely hope they will introduce something complimentary for British Airways gold card holders, at least a cup of coffee on the house. In the next couple of weeks we will know.
