Finnair has launched a new baggage collection and delivery service for passengers travelling to or from London Heathrow airport in cooperation with AirPortr.
Upon departure from London passengers who have checked in online can have their luggage collected at home or at the hotel in London up to a few hours before departure. This means the passengers can proceed directly to the security control when arriving at Heathrow airport.
A similar service is available upon arrival on a Finnair flight from Helsinki at Heathrow airport where it will be possible to arrange baggage delivery from the airport to the hotel or the home address, which means that the passenger can proceed directly to a meeting or a sightseeing tour while their luggage is being taken care of in the meantime.
The service is offered by AirPortr and is also available when travelling on British Airways or American Airlines to and from Heathrow. It is also available when flying British Airways to or from London Gatwick and they also have a partnership with Easyjet.
