Yesterday Air France opened its new lounge at Paris CDG Terminal 2G, a terminal mostly used for shorthaul regional flights. The lounge has been completely redesigned with a new layout, a new design and new concepts. It has also been enlarged, now measuring 730 sqm.

Upon arrival there is a large circular area where Air France agents equipped with tablets can assist customers. There are also self-service kiosks available.

The design of the lounge follows the “France is in the air” concept with a combination of comfort, chic and creativity. There are new sofas and seats, designer cushions and new lighting, furniture and tables.

Food and drinks are available in the dining area, designed as a Parisian brasserie. There is an open kitchen and both hot and cold dishes are available. There is also a coffee bar area, designed in cooperation with Illy, offering snacks. From May 2017 there will also be a new range of pastries and other French signature snacks.
