Air France today announced that they have chosen the duo Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku from the Parisian space design studio Jouin Manku to design the new Air France Lounge at Paris CDG Terminal 2F, the main terminal for Air France flights to domestic and international Schengen destinations.
The new lounge will be located between the two piers at terminal 2F in a brand new building and will measure an impressive 3500 sqm. It will also play a part in the future terminal design of terminal 2F.
The lounge is expected to open at the end of 2020.
There are currently two Air France Lounges in terminal 2F, one in each pier. They are both nearly identical, located in the basement below the gate areas. No information has been given what will happen to these lounges but most likely they will be closed and the space used for other passenger services.
Lounge access is given to Air France and Skyteam business class passengers as well as Flying Blue Gold, Flying Blue Platinum and Skyteam Elite Plus.

By creating an iconic new lounge, the Jouin Manku studio will enhance the very French notion of hospitality, combining pleasure and poetry.” said Catherine Villar, SVP Customer Experience at Air France.
