Finnair has entered into a new partnership with Swedish airline BRA allowing members of both Finnair Plus and BRA Vänner/BRA Friends to earn and redeem points and get benefits when flying the other airline.

Members in Finnair Plus will be able to earn and redeem points on all BRA routes. At the same time members in BRA Vänner/BRA Friends will be able to earn and redeem points on the entire Finnair network, including the extensive longhaul network to Asia.

BRA (Braathens Regional Airlines) is a new Swedish airline formed after the merger between Malmö Aviation and Sverigeflyg operating flights to 13 destinations from the hub at Stockholm Bromma airport. There has been a limited partnership also in the past between Malmö Aviation and Finnair, but only between Stockholm and Helsinki as well as on a handful domestic routes within Sweden.

According to Juha Järvinen, commercial director at Finnair, there are plans to expand and intensify the alliance between BRA and Finnair even further in the future.
