KLM has renewed its cooperation with Dutch chef Jonnie Boer. Starting today, 22 January 2015, he will create menus for longhaul flights out of Amsterdam in KLM World Business Class. The cooperation will continue until 26 October this year.
Jonnie Boer owns restaurant De Librije in Zwolle together with his wife Thérèse who works as hostess and sommelier. The restaurant has three Michelin Stars and is ranked among the top 50 in the world. The couple also owns the Librije’s Shop, Librije’s Hotel and Librije’s Atelier cookery and wine academy.
“KLM is pleased to be cooperating again with Jonnie Boer. Our World Business Class passengers greatly appreciated the meals he created in 2010. This acclaimed three-star chef fits in well with KLM. Jonnie has developed three brilliant menus for the coming nine months”, says Executive Vice President KLM Inflight Services Paul Elich.
KLM has been working with famous Dutch chefs for several years who have created menus for business class, for example Sergio Herman, Richard Ekkebus, Mario Ridder and Richard van Oostenbrugge.
