British Airways has given its Galleries Club South Lounge at London Heathrow terminal 5 a major facelift. New furniture have been added and a new lounge layout has been introduced to provide better individual seating and privacy. Also more power points have been added in the lounge to charge laptops, mobile phones and tablets. In total 400 new pieces of furniture have been added ranging from chairs and tables to dining furniture and leather sofas.
“It’s important that our premium customers flying in Club World can start their journey on the ground with the best service and surroundings, to ensure they are relaxed and comfortable even before they board their flight. We hope our customers will appreciate the new look, extra power points, better furniture and enhanced layout to start their journey in comfort and style”, explains Troy Warfield, British Airways’ director of customer experience.
Access to the Galleries Club South Lounge is given to British Airways business class passengers travelling either on a shorthaul flight in Club Europe or on a longhaul flight in Club World. Access is also given to to Silver and Gold members in British Airways Executive Club and OneWorld Sapphire and Emerald members when travelling on a British Airways or a OneWorld operated flight.
