Today Malmö Aviation opened its new lounge at Gothenburg Landvetter airport, replacing the much smaller Express Lounge in the domestic departure hall.
The new lounge is located in the transit hall between gates 15 and 16, the gates used for most Malmö Aviation departures to Stockholm and Visby. In contrast to the old lounge the new lounge is located in the transit hall, airside after the security control, with all departure formalities already completed when arriving at the reception.
This is the first lounge to get the new Malmö Aviation lounge concept, which has been created by design studio Grow. The interior focuses on Swedish design tradition with furniture from Gärsnäs and the idea behind the choice of colours and furniture is that they should create a homey feeling, much like a living room.
The lounge is accessible to passengers travelling on a Malmö Aviation Full Flex ticket and those with a Malmö Aviation Gold card. It is also possible to access the lounge using a Priority Pass or a Diners Club card.
