A morning visit to the Aviator Lounge at Stockholm Arlanda airport, which is sometimes also called ‘Stockholm Arlanda Lounge’, located in the non-Schengen zone of concourse F at terminal 5.
There are no kitchen facilities in or close to this lounge and for this reason there is no hot food whatsoever available at any time of the day.
To compensate for this they offer a signature feature in the lounge, a waffle machine. So you can help yourself to a freshly-made waffle with jam and whipped cream.
As we were very few visitors at 8 am the lounge agent offered to help me making two waffles, which I happily accepted, and which she did. A rather nice but unusual start of the day.
