Skyteam today opened its brand new lounge at Hong Kong international airport, the fourth dedicated Skyteam lounge in the world following in the footsteps of London Heathrow, Istanbul Atatürk and Sydney.
The lounge is located in terminal 1 close to gate 15 and is open from 5.30 in the morning until 1 am after midnight. It is used by all Skyteam airlines operating at Hong Kong airport for their first class and business class passengers as well as passengers with Skyteam Elite Plus status.

Together they offer over 183,000 seats every week from the airport.
The lounge is large, covering around 1000 square metres with seating for 230 guests and with a design very similar to the existing Skyteam lounges.
A well-known feature from the other Skyteam lounges is the “Living wall” comprising more than 50 different plants. The aim is to bring a touch of nature to the travel experience in the lounge.
Passenger wishing to have something to eat will also have several option in the lounge. The dining options include a noodle bar and a buffet area with hot and cold international cuisine.
There is also a self service bar, very similar to the one available at London Heathrow, with beer, wine and spirits.
For passengers who prefer to work there is complimentary Wi-Fi and work stations. There are also many power outlets throughout the lounge.
An interesting new feature is the yoga room in the lounge, for passengers who prefer a bit of tranquillity. There are naturally also restrooms and showers available.
