Skyteam today opened its brand new lounge at Hong Kong international airport, the fourth dedicated Skyteam lounge in the world following in the footsteps of London Heathrow, Istanbul Atatürk and Sydney.

The lounge is located in terminal 1 close to gate 15 and is open from 5.30 in the morning until 1 am after midnight. It is used by all Skyteam airlines operating at Hong Kong airport for their first class and business class passengers as well as passengers with Skyteam Elite Plus status.

Currently 12 Skyteam airlines serve Hong Kong: Aeroflot, Air France, China Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Garuda Indonesia, Kenya Airways, KLM, Korean Air, Vietnam Airlines and Xiamen Airlines. Together they offer over 183,000 seats every week from the airport.

A well-known feature from the other Skyteam lounges is the “Living wall” comprising more than 50 different plants. The aim is to bring a touch of nature to the travel experience in the lounge.
