Carlson Rezidor today announced the opening of a new Radisson Red hotel in Glasgow, United Kingdom, which will be the very first Radisson Red hotel to open in Europe. The hotel will be located adjacent to the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC), Scotland’s largest exhibition centre and is scheduled to open in 2017.
The Radisson Red Hotel Glasgow will offer 176 rooms, a REDeli restaurant, and a Oui bar, both signature concepts of the Radisson Red brand. There will also be 100 sqm of meeting and conference space, a gym and 78 parking spaces.
According to Carlson Rezidor the new Redbrand should appeal to “tech-savvy guests with an ageless millennial mindset” with a concept that “combines work and play and is inspired by design, art, music and fashion”.
Carlson Rezidor has previously announced three Radisson Red hotels – one hotel in Cape Town, South Africa and two hotels in China, in Shenyang and Hunan.
