Porto, Bologna and Bordeaux will be added to the Finnair network during the summer 2019. All three routes will be served using an Airbus A319 and many of the flights will enable connections to and from the Finnair longhaul network in Asia.
The new route to Bologna will start already on 10 April and will be served until 18 October. This is the longest any of the three seasonal routes in 2019 will be served. The new route will be served with up to three weekly departures.
Bordeaux in France will be offered between 11 May and 14 September with up to two weekly flights.
Porto, the second largest city in Portugal, will complement the existing route to Lisbon and will be served twice weekly between 21 June and 12 August.
“We are very pleased to be able to offer these three new routes for leisure travellers next summer,” says Juha Järvinen, Chief Commercial Officer at Finnair. “The three cities and surrounding areas have plenty to offer our customers and we fully expect the routes to be popular with food enthusiasts as all three regions are superb culinary and wine regions.”
Finnair will also increase the number of departures to Alanya, Palma de Mallorca, Split and Tel Aviv during the summer season 2019.
