KLM today received its last refurbished Boeing 777-200 aircraft which means the entire Boeing 777-200 fleet has now been upgraded with the new cabin products in business class, premium economy and economy class.

In total 4700 seats have been installed in 15 aircrafts and in all three cabin classes. The seats are lighter than the previous versions making the aircraft roughly 500 kg lighter. Also the inflight entertainment system has been upgraded to a newer version. The next step is to upgrade the Boeing 777-300 fleet with the new cabin products, 10 aircrafts in total.

In World Business Class there are now 34 seats in a 2-2-2 configuration divided into a larger cabin with five rows and a smaller cabin with just one row behind the business class galley. The seat is the new fully-flat business class seat, previously installed on the Boeing 747 aircrafts.

In premium economy, Economy Comfort, the configuration is also 3-4-3 but with four inches more legroom. The number of seats in this section has been increased from 34 to 40.
