The new lounge called “Club Aspire” is scheduled to open in October 2016. It will be run by the Collinson Group and Swissport and will be located at London Heathrow terminal 3 close to gate 9. Most likely it will be available in the space previously used for the Singapore Airlines lounge, which has now moved to terminal 2.
The Club Aspire will follow in the footsteps of the “Lounge and Spa at LHR T5”, the third-party lounge at terminal 5 which opened about a year ago, as well as “The Club” lounges in the United States.
The lounge will offer seating for 120 passengers and will have a contemporary design with several different sections including a business centre, a snooze area with lounger seats and a quiet zone. There will also be multimedia tables where travellers can access news and play games.
A full Bliss Spa will be available offering massages, manicures and other treatments and there will also be showers in the lounge.
The food offerings will include a “best-of-British” food menu including freshly-prepared breakfast rolls, a salad bar, deli counter, and children’s options. A premium menu with full meals will also be available, subject to payment. The drinks selection with include complimentary alcoholic drinks and soft drinks, coffee and tea.
During the first three months all visiting passengers will also be offered a glass of prosecco.
Access will be provided to Priority Pass, LoungeKey and Lounge Club holders. The lounge will also be used by Delta, Philippine Airlines and Garuda when they move to terminal 3.
