In 2020 Scandic Hotels will open a new hotel in close vicinity to Copenhagen Kastrup airport with walking distance to the airport terminal. The hotel, which will be named Scandic Copenhagen Airport, will be part of the new Scanport area, an area which will also feature new office buildings and other facilities.
The hotel will offer 357 rooms and will be located just north of the airport, right by the coastline overlooking the Öresund strait. The hotel will offer a rooftop bar with an outdoor terrace, a gym and a relaxation area with a swimming pool.
The Scandic Copenhagen Airport will be the tenth Scandic hotel in the Nordics located close to an airport.
