The Radisson Blu Hotel in Amsterdam has just completed an extensive renovation which has taken place over four years giving the hotel a completely new long. The work was finished just in time for the 25th anniversary of the hotel and includes a new lobby, meeting and event areas, a new room style and a new hotel exterior

The new look has been created by Dutch designer Edward van Vliet together with the management team of the hotel under the leadership of General Manager Pascal Gadet. The idea with the new hotel look is to reflect its golden age with a modern Amsterdam twist.

The hotel opened in 1990 as SAS Royal Hotel, Amsterdam. The opening ceremony was attended by the King and Queen of Sweden together with the President of SAS Airlines and the Mayor of Amsterdam.
