A new hotel will open at Helsinki Vantaa airport next year. The hotel, Clarion Hotel Helsinki Airport, will be owned and managed by Nordic Choice Hotels and is scheduled to open in October 2016, just a few days after the opening of Clarion Hotel Helsinki in the city centre of Helsinki, the first Nordic Choice hotel in Finland.
The new airport hotel will offer 258 rooms in total. There will also be 10 conference rooms (the largest for up to 260 guests), a restaurant and a bar. And given this is a hotel in Finland there will obviously be a fitness centre with gym and sauna.
Today the main hotel at Vantaa airport is the Hilton Helsinki Vantaa airport hotel, which is also the only hotel within walking distance to the terminal.
