Passengers visiting the KLM Crown Lounge in the Schengen area at Amsterdam Schiphol have for a long time been complaining about the overcrowded lounge space, especially at peak times on weekdays when it can sometimes get very difficult to find a seat
But finally the long-awaited lounge project has been completed and a new lounge area has opened behind the old lounge, doubling the lounge space. At the same time the self-service buffet has been moved to the new area while the old buffet in the old part now only offers drinks.
A fun feature in the new lounge area is the Heineken bar with two beer barrels connected to the bar counter through a pipe.
