Yesterday a new hotel opened its doors at Stavanger Sola airport in Norway – Clarion Hotel Air. The hotel is run by Nordic Choice Hotels and is located 800 metres from the airport terminal and offers 296 rooms. An airport shuttle is available to and from the hotel.
The hotel restaurant follows the Kitchen & Table concept developed by chef Marcus Samuelsson, available at many Clarion hotels. The inspiration has been drawn from his working place in New York in combination with the local culture in Stavanger. There is also an outdoor terrace.
There is a gym available on two floors, 13 meeting rooms and a larger ballroom for up to 1250 guests.
The hotel was inaugurated Monday 23 November by the Mayor of Sola, Ole Ueland, and hotel director Anne Kristine Rugland.
