Three new European routes will be launched next year with Cathay Pacific from Hong Kong – Brussels, Dublin and Copenhagen. Although none of these three cities are OneWorld hubs, Cathay Pacific will be the only airline offering nonstop routes from these cities to Hong Kong. All three routes will be operated using new Airbus A350 aircrafts.
The Airbus A350-900 features 38 fully flat seats in business class with a 1-2-1 configuration, 28 seats in premium economy with a 2-4-2 configuration, and 214 seats in economy class with a 3-3-3 configuration.
Brussels-Hong Kong will start 25 March 2018 and will be operated four days a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. From Hong Kong CX 339 will depart at 00.35 arriving in Brussels at 06.55 and the return flight from Brussels CX 338 will depart at 13.10, arriving in Hong Kong at 06.55.
Dublin-Hong Kong will start 2 June 2018 and will be operated four days a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. From Hong kong CX 307 will depart at 00.50, arriving in Dublin at 06.45, and from Dublin flight CX 306 will depart at 11.55, arriving in Hong Kong the next morning at 07.05.
Copenhagen-Hong Kong will be operated at a seasonal route between 2 May and 12 October 2018 with three departures a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. From Hong Kong flight CX 227 will depart at 01.10, arriving in Copenhagen at 06.30 and the return flight from Copenhagen CX 226 will depart at 13.55, landing in Hong Kong the following morning at 06.35.
