Scandic Hotels today unveiled a new hotel brand. The new brand, which has been named Scandic GO, stands for a good night’s sleep, a good location and a good price. The design will be playful, contemporary and urban with compact and functional rooms and there will also be several digital innovations such as the possibility to open the hotel door using the Scandic mobile app. It will also be possible to play videos from a personal decide on the TV in the room.

But in order to be keep the cost level down, in order to keep the prices low, there will only be a limited selection of full-service products in the hotel such as restaurants, gyms and meeting facilities This is also why the location is an important aspect of the new concept. The properties will be located downtown, right in the city centre, close to local bars, restaurants, attractions and activities, things that will not be offered in the hotel, or at least only to a limited extent.
