Gin festival in the British Airways Galleries First Lounge at Heathrow

The summer terrace has opened in the British Airways Galleries First Lounge at London Heathrow terminal 5 and this also means that the gin bar is back at the terrace. And this year it is really excellent.

There are several interesting gin brands available such as the fruity Slingsby Rhubarb Gin, Bulldog Gin, Martin Miller’s Gin, Caorunn Gin, and the rather unusual Seedlip, made like a gin with botanicals. It tastes roughly like a gin, but not fully, and it is also non-alcoholic. Some of the gin brands also have special glasses available, which further enhances the experience.

There is also a wide range of tonic water brands, including a few rather unusual but fun and tasty ones, like the Peter Spanton Beverage No 9 Cardamon Tonic, or the Lamb & Watt Hibiscus Tonic. Perfect to create a fruity summer drink.

The summer terrace with the gin bar will be open during the whole summer until September.
